HolidayIQ Reviewer AS says, “A local informed us that all the langer food is cooked in the same hot water springs, we also got to know these our sulfur water springs and due to some chemical reaction, the water is turning so hot. There was a separate kund made for tourist to dip their legs in sulfur water as it has medicinal values and good for skin. We sat there for a couple of hours and yes there are also Ram and Shiva Mandir at manikaran which are equally famous like gurudwara. This place attracts a lot of devotees every year. ” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Nilova Pande shares, “Unique hot water springs The Vashisht temple is a major tourist attraction because of its hot water bath and architectural beauty. The bath is secluded for men and women so in case you are planning a dip then its suggested to carry a change of clothes. And yes the water is hot! The temple itself is about 800 years old established by Rishi Vashishth, one can read about the historical importance of the place in the temple itself.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer S.M.Bega Raaj adds, “Nostalgic Nubra!Vintage Valley I went to this wonderful Nubra Valley and sacred Yarab Tso lake on 26th April 2016, it was an unforgettable tour of my lifetime, this beautiful lake is located just after the Sumoor Sampling Monastery and just before Panamik Hot springs, we have to trek/hike for 15 minutes to reach this fabulous lake, the views throughout the journey was absolutely stunning, especially the 360* views from the mountain and close to the lake was extraordinary. My tour goes like this, Sangto green guesthouse Leh - Kardungla - Sumoor Sampling monastery - Panamik Yarab Tso - Hot springs - Deskit Monastery - Hunder sand dunes and Camel Safari - night stay at Olgok guest house. Next day started as early as 5. Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Debayan Bhowmik shares, “An ideal mixture of belief and spiritualism The moment you enter the premises of the Gurudwara surrounding the hot spring, an unknown sense of spirituality will engulf you, whatever may be your religion. The belief with which people come here is amazing to look at and feel. It is believed that bathing in the water of the spring can cure any kind of skin rashes and also steamed rice (cooked in the water of the hot spring) is served as the prasad in the Gurudwara, which is purely delicious. In one word, I, rather we were stunned at the hospitality and calmness of the place in the midst of the beautiful town of Manikaran.” Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Rizwanuddin Rafiq says, “Hot water springs and rafting point As Tattapani is situated at an altitude of 655 Meters, so almost we have to go deep down at least 1500 Meters from MSL, for this we have to travel 25 KM, from Naldehra. It is very famous tourist place one for Rafting and another for numbers of hot water springs on the bank of Satluj River, so it has got the name Tattapani. Driving deep down with a lot of bends journey becomes much exciting, and you are so close to the nature that you can feel, and that brings a change in our thinking and views. Water at Tattapani gives relief in joint pains and many other skin diseases, in the winter you can not enjoy the Rafting but springs deliver very warm water. All the year it attracts the tourist.Read Full Review

HolidayIQ Reviewer Arnav Mathur says, “Kheerganga - A trek in the lap of god (Parvati Valley A must do when in Kasol or Manali. The base point of the trek is from Barshiani which is 20 km from Kasol and one can reach Barshiani via private cabs or via local buses. The highest point of this trek is 13,025 feet. We crossed a waterfall and a landslide en route which was an experience in itself. The reward of trekking for 4-5 hours over a distance of 12-14 km is taking a relaxing dip in the hot water springs which are the highlight of the trek.

The springs are sure to relax your muscles and shoo away the tiredness and it is said that the water has some therapeutic properties. PS: If you are trekking during the rains, be sure to carry a poncho and good trekking boots. Avoid heavy rucksacks as they slow your speed. As responsible travelers, kindly do not litter the trail and get all your trash back with you to the base.” Read Full Review
