Arrive at Thailand's capital,Bangkok, easiest done by flying a cheap airline. Visit the Khaosan Road, an essay on the backpacking culture that prevails in Thailand. From here, your next stop, the Grand Palace, is a 1 km walk through Bangkok. Try the street food at Wot Pho, close to the Grand Palace, before heading back to the hotel.

The place reminds you of a Thailand before modernization.
