5. Make A Much-Needed Stop At Mysore

HolidayIQ Traveller Suraj says, "Mysore is famed for its culture, heritage, food and salubrious climate all round the year as I made a visit to this beautiful city along with my family members. We explored places like Mysore palace, then we visited Mysore zoological park in the afternoon and later we explored Brindavan gardens in the evening which is famous for musical fountains and boat riding. During our stay we also visited Chamunda hill and kanakgiri for Jain temples and the architecture is splendid. Food here is for visitors delight as one can get tasty food across all hotels especially Mysore masala dosa and don't miss to taste Mysore pak. So this city is still to be explored during my next stay as it frequently beacons tourists with its wonderful charm."

6. Experience Tibetan Culture & Have Piping Hot Momos At Bylakuppe

source: wikimedia

HolidayIQ Traveller Arshaw says, "Different county. It has an amazing spark as you can find the Tibet flags and Buddhist monks everywhere. There is no entrance fees for the Golden Temple but you have to pay for parking. I would suggest the travellers to leave their footwear in the vehicle itself as you have to remove your footwear while entering the temple. Your foot wear can be deposited in a counter near the temple but you gotta pay for eat. In the meantime time try momo's a traditional food of Tibet which is excellent. You get momo's of both veg and non-veg. Bylakuppe is also of shopping area but shopping near the Golden Temple are very expensive. So I would suggest the tourists to visit the first camp (it's the name of camp)."

7. Coffee At Coorg, Anyone?

HolidayIQ Traveller Sandeep says, "While the location Coorg is a nice place to relax, there are many placed to visit there. We mainly stuck to one secluded place we found while roaming around. The place, probably some slope of a mountain, was so secluded and a beautiful place to relax that we spent most of our time there. Even fell asleep there for 4-5 hrs one time. Me and my girl friend do not like to visit places where there are too many people roaming around. So we did not visit the main places one usually visits when at Coorg. But I heard they are definitely ones to experience. The food there I did not like and also the hotel I stayed in. These two things let us down. But other than that, we had a great time together at Coorg."

While the joining point of Kaveri and Kannike can be seen, it is said that River Sujyothi joins these two from underneath. It is considered sacred place for pilgrims to take a dip here and perform rituals before proceeding to Talacauvery - the birthplace of River Kaveri. A short distance from Triveni Sangam, is the famous Bhagandeshwara temple."
