Golden Temple | Border | Religious | Shopping

HolidayIQ Reviewer Sabyasachi RayC says, “Like most cities having its origin in the Middle Ages, this city as well is divided into two parts - the old walled city and the swanky new town. ...For the travellers like me who believe in marching on their stomachs (or tongues!) check out the old town for the traditional Amritsari Kulchas, lassis and the elaborate Punjabi thalis. What awaits you my friend in the New town are the Amritsari Fish tikkas, Chicken tikkas and of course Kanha Sweets for breakfast. ” Read Full Review

Beach | Temple | Sea | Nature

HolidayIQ Reviewer Archana Hemmady adds, “A place to visit if you wish to relax Ganpatipule, really a long drive from Pune, is a small place bang on the seashore. ...When in Ganpatipule eat what the konkan food is. The typical and distinct seafood associated with konkan which incorporates use of coconut in the masala, and the sol kadi, all yummy. Small hotels have full meals which are cheap and finger licking. But vegetarians, will have to be satisfied with the usual sabudana khichdi, poha, if you count out the thalis. The only signs of the tourist inflow is that chinese bhel and other fast food which can be found anywhere can be seen in some hotels.” Read Full Review
