HolidayIQ reviewer Deepika shares about the Hoysaleswara Temple, "A world heritage site built by the Hoysala Dynasty, most parts of the temple is being maintained at its best. The sculptures and stone carvings are more detailed than the Belur temple and they depict stories from great epics like Mahabharata."

HolidayIQ reviewer Jayashankar expresses his wonder, "a temple which is something ethereal in beauty and form."

HolidayIQ reviewer Yashnashree expresses her wonder of the Virupaksha temple, "Entering this grand temple fills you with a sense of awe for a history that was. A fallen empire, the magnanimous past and the beautiful architecture compels one to feel overwhelmed."

HolidayIQ reviewer Ami says, "This temple is the most often pictured as a landmark of the Hampi heritage tour. The highlight is the "inverted" shadow that is formed on one of the walls of the temple. There is a flight of stairs that lead you to this area and you can see an inverted shadow of the highest gopuram forming on the walls, all through a tiny hole in the walls of the temple."

HolidayIQ reviewer Vinodh shares about the Ardhanareeswarar Temple, "It is a Shiva Temple with a difference. Today where there is big a hue and cry to showcase men being superior to women and women putting forth instances that they are equal, here is a temple, 2000 years or older, known for its unique manifestation of half male, half female Lord Ardhanaareewarar. The left side of the idol is Parvati, right is Shiva. A message that each is incomplete without the other! It is claimed that this rare posture of the Lord as a prime deity can be found only in this temple in the whole of Asia."

It has grown over year from a small temple to a huge campus housing the Golden Temple and another temple for Buddha, a college and hostel complex."

HolidayIQ reviewer Ami Bhat shares a detailed description, "As you enter Lepakshi, you will see the monolithic Nandi on the right. Further down the Nandi, you will find the Lepakshi temple. There is generally no crowd here. You can spend time exploring and admiring the lovely sculpted pillars. Don't forget to look up at the amazing ceiling. Also, try spotting the floating pillar, where you can swipe an entire newspaper under it. Within the temple premises, the beautiful open-air Kalyana Mantapa takes away your breath."
