HolidayIQ reviewer Vinil says, “Hospitality is excellent. Right from the receiving till departure the staff was very courteous. Ambience was amazing. Calm and serene place. There are two restaurants and the food was good. The restaurant staff take care of each guest's preferences... Even if the dish is not on the menu they made sure to pre order it and present the dish to us. Overall the service of the staff is the best providing the guest with personal attention. Memorable and happy experience.”

HolidayIQ reviewer Vyan Rathi says, “This is a very special place to stay, away from the crowds hidden in a beautiful Sal jungle of Kanha. We spent 3 nights on New Year’s and were delighted by the attention to detail of the architecture, service and naturalists. It’s a small lodge and the staff is more like family. Special thanks to the staff members, Ashwani and Hari for looking after us so well.”

HolidayIQ reviewer Ethel Lazaro says, “My stay at Alila was simply perfect. the pool was enjoyable and we loved the concept of sunbath beds in the pool, also the infinity pool edge which overlooks the field. The bar beside the pool is inexpensive! Everyone is extremely polite and very helpful and the service is at par with other 5star hotels like the Hyatt! We booked the loft room and were allowed room 316 by Alexander - Loved this room on the second floor which overlooked the pool! I think it is one of the best set of rooms! Best part- the bath tub and the lovely mirrored partition doors. I am waiting to return.”

HolidayIQ reviewer Suketu says, “It’s full of coffee plantations, pathways, a small river, garden with benches, open bamboo dining hall, library, indoor games, camp fire, trekking activities. Cottages which were originally constructed by villagers are modified to add amenities. Single, double, two storied, tree houses, all kinds of cottages are at different locations spread across the jungle, all of which are good. We stayed in single cottages opposite to the dining hall and at night you can hear the sound of river water. Great location.”
