1. Kochi

Kochi is a celebration of Kerala's unique history and culture. The Mattancherry Palace also known as Dutch palace, the Paradesi Synagogue which "was built in 1568. How to Reach:

By air: The Cochin International Airport is connected to all major cities across India and the world. It's located 29 Km from the city centre. 
By train: The two major railway stations in Kochi are Ernakulam Town Station and Ernakulam Junction Station, with a good frequency of trains. 
By road: Cochin is accessible through National Highway 44.

HolidayIQ reviewer PG says,Paradise Island has many activities like kayaking, canoeing, speed boat, banana ride etc. There is a shack that sells food and water but it would be great if you could pack a picnic basket for this trip! I would totally recommend this place if you visit Pondicherry.”

How to Reach: 

By air: There are regular flights between Hyderabad and Chennai Airport. Pondicherry is about 180 km away from the airport with ample taxi availability.

By train: The Puducherry Railway Station is well connected to all major cities. 

By road: National Highway 65 connects Hyderabad and Pondicherry via Nellore and Chennai.



3. Coimbatore

By rail: Coimbatore Junction is the main railway station of the city enabling regular trains to Coimbatore from major cities of the country.

By road: National Highway 44 connects Hyderabad and  Coimbatore through Bangalore and Erode. 

4. Munnar

Munnar is everything you would want a hill station to be - gorgeous, lush and dream-like! The place is so beautiful, it feels straight out of a painting!

How to Reach: 

By air: The nearest airport is the Cochin International Airport, which is 110 km away by road.

By train: The most convenient railway head to reach Munnar from Hyderabad is Pollachi Junction.

By road: National Highways 44 and 544 connect Hyderabad and Munnar through Bangalore, Erode, Salem and Tiruppur.

5. Vijaywada

Vijayawada, literally means 'The Place of Victory', is the head of the Krishna delta and surrounded by the Budameru River on the north and the Indrakiladri Hills on the west.  Vijayawada has rich historic and religious significance.

Located on the bank of river Krishna, To reach Vijayawada trains available from all over India. Vijayawada is very near to the new Andhra Pradesh capital Amravati."

By air: The Vijayawada airport is the domestic terminal of the city located in NH 5 that connects Chennai and Kolkata.

By train: Trains to Vijayawada Railway Station are available from almost all major railway stations in the country.

By road: The best way to reach Vijayawada from Hyderabad is to drive down the NH 65Vijayawada is 280 km from Hyderabad on this route. 

6. Tirupati

Overall a nice place to visit for a change."

By air: Tirupati airport is located at a distance of 15kms from the city center near to Renigunta. 

By train: Tirupati railway station is well connected. 

By road: Tirupati is 550 km from Hyderabad on National Highways 44 and 45 .
