Time to Experience #GoKerala Through Breathtaking Pictures Taken By Our Travellers!

We know you are curious to know what our travellers did on their HolidayIQ and Kerala Tourism’s #GoKerala contest trip in which 5 lucky couples were taken on an all expenses paid trip around Kerala, allowing them to see Kerala in a new light.

If you were suffering from some serious FOMO, fret not for we’ve compiled some of the best pictures from the trip and presented before you in the order of the original trip. So what are you waiting for? Go live the trip like you took it!

Day 1- Kasargod

The travellers started with the beautiful Ananthapura lake temple of Kasargod in search of peace of mind. This temple has a vegetarian crocodile named ‘Babiya’ for more than 60 years now!

Our travellers ended the day enjoying the spectacular sunset at the Pallikere beach.

Day 2- Kannur

Our travellers were welcomed by the rare heritage of the marvellous St. Angelo Fort of Kannur.

Spotted having some fun with the ATV on Muzhappilangad beach- India’s longest drive-in beach.

Day 3- Wayanad

On day three, our travellers experienced the gorgeous lush plantations of Wayanad!

Some of them enjoyed zip lining at the Muddy Boots(Kerala’s longest zipline), Wayanad.

While some bought something for everyone at the SM Street, Kozhikode.

Day 4- Kozhikode

The unique art exhibits at the Sargaalaya Arts and Crafts Village fascinated our travellers.

They also learnt a thing or two about ships at the Uru shipbuilding yard.

Day 5- Thrissur

At the famous Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda Museum, which is the hub of Ayurveda in Kerala.

On the fifth day, our travellers were awestruck by the breathtaking scenery at the Athirapally falls.

A hotspot for photographers- the hanging bridge in Thumburmuzhi allowed them to test their photography skills.

Day 6- Kochi

On day six, our travellers were on the way to the Muziris heritage project via boat. The Muziris project is also the first Green Project of Kerala and the largest Heritage Conservation Project in India.

Later in the day, they spotted the beautiful blue Chinese fishing nets in Kochi.

Day 7- Alleppey

Day seven was heaven for our travellers as they got a chance to experience the serene Alleppey backwaters in a cozy houseboat by Spice Routes.

The luxurious interiors of the houseboat testify to the gala time our traveller had.

Day 8- Munroe island

You can see our travellers en route to Munroe Island, crossing the Ashtamudi Lake to get the ultimate village life experience.

Day 9- Trivandrum

A scenic view of the Neyyar Dam, as recorded by our travellers.

Every traveller had their heart in the mouth moment when they were in the home of the beast at the Neyyar Lion Safari Park.

Day 10- Varkala

The beautiful cliffside beach of Varkala was the last stop where our travellers relished the relaxing experience.

Finally our happy travellers got together to celebrate their rich experiences at the traveller meetup in Trivandrum.
