Booked this bus on last minute. Nice bus service. Boarded at 8PM and reached Panjim 9 AM in the morning.

Panjim is the main center point if you want to go to North goa or South-Goa. Bikes, taxis are available on rent in Panjim at cheap prices. We stayed in North goa for 2 days and it was amazing.

Took an AC Sleeper Bus to Goa with Naik Travels. One of the worst experience I've ever had. The quality of the bus is just pathetic and uncomfortable. The service is equally bad. Had a nightmare trying to sleep with the speedy turns by the driver. Not recommended at all.

Wanted to drive through the Konkan coastal route but this time we were a big group of 30 and had hired a sleeper Volvo, which cannot enter that route, so we travelled through the highway and the ghats. Left at around 10 pm from Mumbai and morning 8 o'clock we halted at Sawantwadi to freshen up and for tea and light snacks. The ghats got covered at midnight, fortunately there was no health issues. By 11 am we reached our hotel Doubletree Hilton at Arpora which is 10 minutes from Baga Beach. Its a 4 star property, but worth 3 star, the hotel review I am writing separately.

While returning we left Goa at around 4 in the evening so that we reach Mumbai by 5 next morning, always keep a buffer in travelling as our bus had technical problems and we were out of Goa only by 6 pm. Took a halt at the same place, where we had breakfast for dinner at around 9. Till now the journey was smooth both ways but the nightmare was yet to begun. Immediately after we had dinner the journey of ghats for 3 hours started, and the bus doesn't stop on ghats, which we were unaware of. Most of the passengers started vomiting and puking for next 2 hours. Luckily we had enough carry bags, water, tissues, sanitisers and mouth freshers. Caution - carry all these items in good quantity if driving. Finally reached Mumbai at around 6.

Hilton Double Tree is a 4 star property. But our experience was not that great and I would not rate it more than a three star. Location is also far from beach. We were a group of 30 and had taken eight rooms. We had reached by 12 noon and check-in time though was 2 pm, we had to wait till 3....more »

We travelled in Neeta Tours & Travels Mumbai To Goa [SUNSHINE QUEEN] (Seat/Slmb)(2X2) (Via Pune / Kolhapur) Volvo B9R Multi Axle. It was on 28th APril, 2015 at 6.30am and it was supposed to reach Madgaon at 9.45pm. We were to board the bus from in front of Gokul Anand Hotel, Dahisar, Mumbai. We reached 15 minutes before time but alas the bus would not come. It finally arrived at around 7.45am already running more than an hour late. The staff answering calls were quite rude. They gave an impression that they were doing a favour on the customer. This was a semi-sleeper bus. So, finally the journey began which was like never ending. It stopped at a few places. It was running very very late. They were picking up passengers from every nook and corner. The halts were terrible because after lunch there was almost no scheduled break for 6-7 hours. Think of the people inside the bus. Some required to go to the washroom too. After the nightmarish road journey it arrived Madgaon at around 11:30pm. I swear I will never travel by Bus to Goa again.

We were in Goa, to be exact South Goa for a few days in April-May 2015. We were attending a close friends marriage. The weather was very hot. The trip was filled with special memories. Enjoyed visiting some off beat locations in South Goa. The meal at JoCarol was awesome. It's in Assolna, Goa....more »
