MULTI axel semi sleeper bus with excellent interiors, drinkungn water was provided, blankets were provided. Staff was very helpful and polite. Very well maintained neat and clean. I always taravel by volvo service very punctual. Started on time and reached on time.
Our bus had to start by 10:40 p. M. From platform 3 of Shanthinagar bus stand. Till 11 p. Also there is no news of our bus. On the other side many Tamil Nadu buses left for Trichy. There is no inquiry counter and there are no announcements. At last the bus number came as message. A sigh of relief. There were not many seats in Shanthinagar bus stop to wait. The driver never allowed us to board and he could not maneuver the bus to platform. Somehow the conductor checked our Mobile ticket and allowed us in. He slept off, it seems. The driver took Coimbatore route instead of Trichy route. After long distance, a passenger pointed out and then he turned. The bus which has to arrive by 5:30 a. Arrived by 8:30 am at Trichy. In between the bus stopped at a hotel for coffee - but its toilet was Indian and not maintained well. Very difficult for senior citizens like me. I saw one family with 2 small children suffering and consoled myself.

The hotel is walking distance from the bus stand. The rooms are big - with an extra bed, 3 of us could walk around freely. It is 24 hours check in. Kerala State Road Transport Corporation, operates three Volvo/Scania buses from Bangalore to Sulthan Bathery. Two buses are from Bangalore to Trivandrum via Bathery and one is to Kozhikode via Bathery. I had traveled in the newly started Trivandrum bus and it has departed from Bangalore Satellite Bus Station at the correct time and reached Sulthan Bathery before time. Say around 30 minutes before the actual arrival time. Also operates plenty of other buses from Bangalore to Sulthan Bathery and the detailed timings and bookings can be done on the website. I was travelling to Bangalore this time around in a bus for a change, it is a different story that I have used most of the other options for reaching this destination. But this option was good because I was travelling in the night and I did not pick a AC because early morning reach in Bangalore always has a lovely early morning weather and I took the bus with two sleeper sets with total privacy curtains and the journey was so smooth that I never found that we have reached a breakpoint so fast and after refreshment the rest of the journey was also very comfortable .. In short I liked the journey and would certainly recommend to business or official persons to take this journey which I am sure will recharge them in no time when they reach the destination ...
I travelled from Satellite Bus Station to Hosur. It will take around 2hours. Many buses has single entry/exit with single door for Public Safety. Buses are made with steel body structure. Service is very good. Bus reach on time. But during peak hours Bus may reach with delay. Overall Buses are very good.
As there was Kerala strike on the same day bus reached slowly to Kerala and late by 4 hours. Bus was stopped too many places and got boring because of long travel. Because of this we have lost half day. Overall not good travel experience may be because of Kerala Strike.
This was my first time to travel in a sleeper bus. I generally prefer semi sleeper. Anyway, the bus came at the boarding point (i.e Majestic bus stand) half an hour late. They gave blanket, pillow, and water. The blanket was stinking. The AC though I switched it off was working. It was pretty cold. And by the time I reached Mangalore, water was dripping from somewhere, and that's how I woke up. Blanket was too thin.
Though the bus departed late the irritant was removed once we crossed Mysore. The bus enters what promises to be a wonderful journey through thick and verdant forests. You become one amongst the winding roads and forest. Nature at its best. The staff made up for the delay and were very courteous. Would certainly recommend the bus.

The Resort is located centrally on the main road few meters from the bus stand. Accessibility to shops, markets, eateries, etc is very easy. Yet it is a quiet place once you step in. Setting of the resort a bit back, helps this. Rooms are well laid with clean linen, bathrooms, etc. All rooms...more »
We found a nice journey in a AC bus, but while travelling through ghats/hill My son suddenly felt the sensation of vomiting since it is a AC bus he cannot popout through window and nor a bag to vomit. They didn't stop the vechicle. Infact 2 to 3 passengers felt the same, there was a conversation between passengers & conductor for not providing a bag/paper bag etc. Since it is a AC bus. They have to provide these facilities
It was on a rainy day that the trip happened ... Unplanned one ... So depended the bus and it gave a back pain that lasted for a week. Am just a one time traveller not so often who goes to Cochin for some official work. I had missed the train and so depended on the bus. People who travel everyday has to be saluted for their hectic life !!!
