About Amravati Tourism
Located in the Tapi basin and right in the centre of the northern border of Maharashtra, Amravati is the main town of the district of the same name. According to legends, Amravati,
or Land of the Immortals, belonged to Lord Indra, the king of gods.
This place is known for its extreme climates with hot summers and cold
winters and has many orange orchards. The city, which is also an
important centre for the cotton belt, is developing at a rapid pace. It
has also emerged as a major educational hub in recent times, with many
