| About Anjuna Beach Tourism |
|
The village of Anjuna in north Goa is a five square mile enclosure overlooking the Arabian Sea and with a hill in the background. It is one of the most popular beaches in Goa situated 8 km west of Mapusa and 18 km from the capital Panaji. It has an unusual arrangement of red laterite rocks, spread across the white sands, known as the Jewel of Anjuna or Ozran. Anjuna
attracts a variety of tourists and is especially popular among foreign
backpackers, especially during the Christmas and New Year season. The sea at Anjuna is particularly safe for bathing, while the soft white sands are great for sun bathing, a favourite activity of the sun-starved European tourists. At the north of Anjuna,
is its famous flea market, where everything from Kashmiri handicrafts,
to Gujarati and Rajasthani clothes, |

Soak up some sun!!!!
| Overview of the destinationHad a great holiday in Goa for 4 days! Went with a bunch of friends, stayed at Anjuna Beach.. 4 days of pure bliss! Food, sight-seeing and shopping Food - A few places that i would recommend to all you guys staying at Anjuna Beach:-
1) The German Bakery - Go there for some Activities & things to do If you're interested in water sports, you may want to go to other beaches like Baga.. Anjuna does not have any water sports. Its more Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. You can reach Anjuna, by flight, air as well as bus. The airport is about a 1 and a half hour drive from Anjuna.
