The main Arambol beach is great for swimming but other attractions include several more attractive bays. About 12 km from this main beach, is the Querim beach that is another pristine and less crowded stretch. Pronounced as ‘Keri’ beach, it is the perfect place to spend a day with the sun and the sea, because of its as-yet-not-popular status.

The Old Portuguese Terekhol fort is another attraction for visitors. It lies on the opposite bank and one can use a ferry to visit the fort. The fort was built in the 18^th century and has a small chapel dedicated to St. Anthony inside. Another popular activity is a trip to the freshwater lake, which extends along the bottom of the valley into the jungle and is a good place for picnics.

Arambol beach is known for its paragliding courses that are easily arranged on request.

Tourists can also do boat trips from November to March to go fishing and dolphin watching. One can also do yoga courses here.

Located in north Goa, about 32-km northwest of Mapusa, Arambol is also known as Harmal in the local language and has been attracting travelers for years because of its remote location and prominent headland with beautiful rocky bays. In season, this beach gets a lot of visitors and gets crowded. The main beach is good for swimming. Its popularity also stems from the fact that it has both rocks and sand along its beach.
