 Mudgao railway station | | Hi,
I want to know if mudgao railway station is the same as margao railway station, close to colva beach. I need this information as I would be reaching goa and going back by train for the first time and want to select a resort close to the railway station.

I am planning to visit Coorg by 2st week of October 2008. Having done a study of the places to visit in 2 nights/3days without compromising travel distance I came to know about the routes. Hence I am planning to drive to Madikeri from Bangalore by self driven car(me , spouce & child) . But I have some concerns about the route . My plan :
Day 1
Bangaore -> Mysore-> (HD kota or Hensur)-> drive through nagarhole-Kutta-> (visit irrupu falls) -> Gonikopal->Virajpet ->Medikeri ( see places enroute not planning for jungle safaries). Stay at medikeri
Day2
In and around Medikeri, Talakaveri , etc stay at Madikeri
Day3
Enroute return journy to Bangalore via Kushalnagar ( visit picinic spots near Kushalnagar)
My only concern here is the Drive through Nagarhole forest. I have driven earlier Bandipur , Mudumalai forests while visiting Ooty and Waynad. But from my understanding from blogs the Nagagole forest is different . My question here , is it safe to drive through Nagarhole forest ? Is it suggested ? What are the risks involved taking this route ? Is there any other route I can take without compromising my above plan? ( Because I do not want to drive down to Irrupu falls and again go back to madikeri instead like to save travel time and distance )
