Visit the temple
of Brahmani
Mata. This temple has a fire that has been burning
since the last 400 years. It is called the 'Akhand Jyoti'.
The Manihara Mahadev
Mandir is the house of famous and ancient Mahadev Ji and Hanuman Ji
temples. It is surrounded by lush green fields and a natural pond.
Sitabari is thronged with tourists to take
a holy dip in the 'kunds' that are attributed to Ram, Sita, Luv and Kush. It also stages a mela every year.
Baran also boasts of 8th century Hindu and Jain
temples. These temples portray some exquisite rock carvings.
Visit the 10th century temples at BandhDevraRamgarh another
place to be awe-struck by elaborate rock carvings.
