Candolim Beach Tourism

Candolim is yet another popular beach haven in North Goa, located to the south of Calangute. A seven kilometer long stretch of sun kissed sands, starting from Aguada and ending at Chapora beach, greets you when you visit Candolim. Since it is close to Panaji, it makes a good base for exploring the rest of Goa. The beach is quite peaceful, compared to some of the more popular ones, and has a wide range of accommodation. Apart from the sunbathing and swimming, you can watch the fisherman coming back from sea with their daily catch. The adventurous ones cab get indulge in water based action, and the foodies can taste the various options at the many shacks dotting the beach. Historically, Candolim is the birthplace of the Father of Hypnotism, Abbe Faria and home to the first revolt against the Portuguese.
