With Goa being split in to two
different districts between North and South, the quaint village of Caranzalem
lies within the Northwest end of the North Goa District. This small
village of Caranzalem is located in the fertile lands of the Arabian Sea, and
on the east side only 3 Km. sits the town of Taleigoa, with the other closest
town being Bambolim that is approximately 8 Km. in distant. Panaji is also
connected by road for easy access to various destination areas, and the Karmali
Railway Station and the Goa
Airport can also be
reached by road from Caranzalem.For the closest beaches surrounding
the village of Caranzalem,
there is the Bambolim Beach, Dona Paula Beach, the Vainguinim
Beach the Miramar
Beach and the Harbor of Mormugao.
All of these beaches are easily accessible from the Caranzalem Township,
if you are wanting to sunbath, swim, snorkel, or just spend an evening upon the
