On
arriving at Calangute beach you will notice two towers and a magnificent white
dome. This is the Church
of St Alex. This
fascinating parish church is a major tourist attraction and attracts people
from all over the world. The style of architecture of the church will sweep
anyone of their feet. The altars of this church are beautifully designed and in
the churchyard, there is a grotto of our Lady of Lourdes. The church
which is on Chogm road was built in 1597 and can be easily accessed from any
part of Calangute. So before you fall into temptation on Calangute beach visit
the church and ask for forgiveness for the sins you would be committing.

 Need help... | Hi everyone...
I'm Akshaya and I'm planning a trip to Goa wth 4 other friends for the last weekend of the month. None of us have been to Goa before and I've been looking around for accomodation but not been able to narrow down on anything. any suggestions? (anything tat'll work out to about 300/head a night would be gr8)
I was actually wondering if anyone knows if i can find a place tat'll allow 4 of us in one room?
