Sight Seeing Highlights
When
visiting Faridkot, there are several places that must be visited, and Qilla
Mubarak is definitely one of them on the list. This is a magnificently
beautiful building due to the amazing architecture, and history. Built in 1732,
at the spot of what is the Erstwhile Mud Fort, this is a place full of original
vintage and diversity in architectural design.
The Darbar
Ganj is another extremely beautiful building to visit, and there is a
breath-taking garden surrounding it. This was the hot spot for royalty and
foreign dignitaries to stay, but is now a Circuit House.
Another
must see revered spot is the Gurudwara Godari Sahib. Located right on
the edge of Faridkot city, this is a magnificent building trimmed in earthly
green and cream colour with an arched entrance.
