Located about 40 kms north of Mumbai, lies Gorai
beach. At one time, it was a small fishing village outside the city but
today it is an extended suburb. It is a welcome getaway for most people
in the city. There are many bungalows here, which are used mainly as
weekend getaways. Low hills along the beach offer extraordinary views
of sunrise and sunset. It is also close to the other beaches Marve and Manori.Gorai is also known for its all night parties.
