Patnadevi, which is the birthplace of great scientist Bhaskaracharya, is located at the confluence of Tapi and Purna rivers.
One can also go to the Omkareshwar temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It gets a lot of devotees around the Shivratri, Shravni Somvar, Ramnavmi and Gokulashtami festivals.
Ecchapurti Ganesh Temple is also on the list of many devotees.
Some of the other tourist attractions are hot water springs at Unapdev in Chopda Taluka and the Ganesha Andhanuman temples at Erandol.

One can visit the Ajanta and Ellora caves from here, which are World Heritage Sights.
A visit to Pal hill station makes for a good picnic spot. Jalgaon is located at the Northwest part of Maharashtra,
on the northern Deccan plateau. This place is a major centre for trade
and agriculture. It sees a lot of tourists because of its proximity to
the world famous heritage sights of Ajanta and Ellora, which are about 50 kms from here. Patnadevi, Omkareshwar Mandir and Ecchapurti Ganesh Temple are the main attractions here. |
