Kashid is an offbeat destination which is growing in popularity in travellers' itineraries. Sandwiched between two rocky hillocks, Kashid Beach on the shores of the Arabian Sea is one of the most beautiful stretches in the Konkan region of Maharashtra.
White sand beaches fringed by casuarinas trees and backdropped by
mountains, paddy fields and rivulets, is the special charm of this
coastal strip. Kashid is 135 Km from Mumbai and 30 Km from Alibaug. The drive from Alibaug to Kashid is the prefect way to capture the picturesque rural scenery en route.

Nice weekend in Kashid
| Overview of the destinationKashid is a nice place for couples, its safe to visit in Kashid and beaches. The water is clean and one can enjoy the water Food, sight-seeing and shopping Fook is ok, no shopping as such. Activities & things to do Roaming around beaches with your companion........ Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. Most economic way is .... take ferry from Gateway of India - cost Rs.65 per person one way and reach Mandava Beach.
