About Ludhiana Tourism
Popularly called the Manchester of India, Ludhiana is an important hub for the textiles and garments industry. It is also the largest city of PunjabState.
This 500-year-old city has a rich cultural heritage and historical
past. The city is located on the Grand Trunk Road, or NH1, in between Delhi and Amritsar. Ludhiana
is also known for hosting Rural Olympics each February that attracts
local sporting talent from the region. This is 20kms from the city, at
Kila Raipur.
