| About Malvan Tourism |
Located on the Konkan coast and wrapped by the Sahayadri ranges, lies Malvan, one of the state’s most historical tourist attractions. Malvan is known for its forts, beautiful beaches, and adventure activities. Old Malvan was once an inner island and is now part of the mainland. This place has two old and impressive forts- the Sindhudurg and Padmagad. According to stories, both these forts once had an underground tunnel joining them. An erstwhile trading center, Malvan is now famous for its saltpans, Chinese clay pottery and its seafood-based cuisine.
Sightseeing Highlights:
A must-see is the Sindhudurg Fort, which was Maratha leader Shivaji’s main bastion and is an important place in Maratha history.One can also visit the Malvan beach,

| Overview of the destinationmalvan is located near tarkarli. in malvan there is a facility to do snorkeling also scuba diving. Even if you are not a swimmer, or Food, sight-seeing and shopping malvany fish and other items are very testy. Activities & things to do for arranging scuba diving Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. there are various places to see nearby malvan. one must arrange at least four days stay in malvan |
