Sight seeing highlights
Vyas Gufa- This is a rock cave in which sage Ved Vyas is believed to have lived
and composed the famous epic and Hindu scripture, the Mahabharat
Vasundhara Falls- This is a natural water fall located at a height of
about 145 meters from which the water falls straight down. Set against the
backdrop of snowy peaks and glaciers, the waterfall presents an extraordinary
sight. At times, violent winds carry away the entire water sheet, making it
appear as if the water fall has stopped temporarily.
Neelkanth Peak - This is a snow covered peak, which is pyramidical in
shape and towers above Badrinath. This peak is popularly known as Garhwal
Queen.
Charan Paduka - This is a beautiful meadow on which can be seen
what is believed to be the foot prints of Lord Vishnu.

You can visit Badrinath, one of the
most important pilgrimage centres for devout Hindus, is just about 3 kilometers
from Mana.

Mana
is a rustic village in the North Indian hilly state of Uttaranchal, which is
also the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border. It is located about 4 km.
from the famous temple town of Badrinath.
It is situated at an altitude 3133 m. in the Garhwal region which offers a rare
treat in terms of diverse flora and fauna, and several relics of the Tibetan
culture. The village and the surroundings are embedded in the twin mountain
ranges of Nar and Narayan, and offer a breath taking view of the surrounding
snow clad hills.
This
tiny hamlet in Garhwal region is a
trekker's dream come true, and offers everything from the thrills and adventure
of trekking in the awe-inspiring surroundings to a rare feast of scenic glory

The unique feature of
Mana is the Bhim Pul, a natural bridge formed across the river Saraswati that offers a breathtaking
view of the water gushing down through a narrow passage in the rock. The cave
gets in its name from Bhim, one of the five Panch Pandav brothers. The rock
here is believed to have been placed by Bhim and the fast flowing water gushing
under a narrow passage under this rock offers a rare sight.
