where it is known as the RoyalManasNational
Park. It is one of the oldest national parks in India,
receiving this special status in 1928 and covers an area of 391 sq km. In December
1985 it was named a World Natural Heritage site, along with KazirangaNational Park,
another famous wildlife destination of Assam

area in this way. However, you must experience an elephant ride too, as this is
the best way to see close-up views of wildlife.
