Sightseeing Highlights:
Mandwa village has a quiet charm. One can explore the village, which is dotted with coconut palm groves. Tourists can also visit Kihim beach, which is near by and is a known area for bird watchers and nature lovers. The jungle of Kihim has varieties of rare flowers, butterflies and birds.
A visit to Kolaba Fort, which is a few miles away from the shore, is also recommended.

Located about 14 km north of Alibaug and easily accessible from Mumbai, Mandwa is a small and quaint village and is known for its calm waters, and beautiful and quiet beach.
On a clear day one can enjoy a long, breathtaking view right up to the Gateway of India in Mumbai which lies about 10 nautical miles away. This is the ideal place for a calm and quiet holiday, lazing on the beach.
