Sightseeing:

Morni is home to two lakes, one large and the other small, divided by a hill but yet said to be interconnected. The lakes are considered very sacred by the locals and many religious ceremonies are conducted here.

There is a small temple located on the banks of the lake which holds a 12th century Trimurti. This site was said to have been home to a Shiva Temple too, once upon a time. There is also an old ruined fort that you could visit.

For some further exploration you could head to the main city of Panchkula, and explore the famous 17th century Mughal Gardens known as Yadavindra Gardens, Pinjore.

Visit the Gurudwara Nada Sahib on the riverbanks of Ghaggar and the 18th century Mansa Devi Temple as well.

While at Pinjore visit the Cactus Garden, said to be Asia's largest outdoor landscaped cacti and succulents Garden.

Other Activities:

Trekking is what Morni offers: you could trek to the lakes, the fort or even to the river banks of Ghaggar. Pack a picnic meal and enjoy the unpolluted air.
