Visit the
beautiful, now dry Jal Mahal built
in 1591 by Shah Quli Khan, the chieftain of Emperor Akbar and the ruler of
Narnaul.
Tomb of Ibrahim Khan Sur was built by
Sher Shah Suri, the ruler of Bengal and later whole India, as a tribute to his
grandfather Ibrahim. The design of the tomb was similar to Pashtun style art
and was created by the personal architect of the ruler, Sheikh Ahmad Niyazi.
Tomb of Pir Turkman belongs to Hazrat
Turkman, a Muslim saint, which is a tomb-cum-mosque complex. It has a dome,
which covers the tomb and pillared verandah built by the British later.
Stroll around the Tripolia Gateway, which means ?the
triple gateway? was constructed in 1589 by Shah Quli khan. The octagonal shape
tomb built in red and grey sandstone lies in the garden complex and is known as
Aram-i-Kausa.
