Located in Kerala, near the Western Ghats and surrounded by hills, Pathanamthitta
district has stretches of forests, rivers and rural landscapes. It is
also famous for its many fairs and festivals. It is a rich biodiverse
region and has many plantations and spice farms. Pathanamthitta
is nourished by three west flowing rivers - Pamba, Manimala and
Achankovil and is quite popular as a wild life and bird sanctuary. One
