Sikkim : Great Holiday
| Overview of the destinationPelling is a wonderful getaway from Gangtok. This is possibly the closest you can get to the Kanchanjungha range. Food, sight-seeing and shopping Stay at Hotel Sonam Chen which is moderately priced and value for money. Make sure you get a mountain facing room on a higher floor. Activities & things to do Tour operators have a morning and an afternoon tour programme which covers the Kanchanjangha Falls, Holy lake and Monastery. Make sure you get a comfortable Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. You can reach Pelling by road both from Gangtok as well as Darjeeling.
