People are too Food, sight-seeing and shopping Food is good, delicious but a bit costly. There is lack of a good and big shopping mall. The place is good for sight-seeing as Activities & things to do Visit wards lake in the heart of the city and the botanical garden just near it. Visit cherrapunjee which is just 54KMs from Shillong. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. You can get Tata Sumos from Guwahati the nearest airport.
