You should make a trip to Sindhudurg, one of the state's more popular and important sea forts, built in the 17th century and the famous Padmagarh fort. The temples in this belt are also quite famous and popular.

Tarkarli is also famous for its Ramnavmi Utsav, organized every year in the Mapurush Temple.
Situated 6 kms south of Malvan, along the Konkan coast and 546 kms away from Mumbai, Tarkarli is a small village on the coast of Maharashtra. The major attraction here is the long and narrow stretch of beach, with its pristine waters. On a clear day, one can see the seabed through a depth of 20 ft. It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the state. |

We plan to travel to Tarkarli in the month on december. Kindly update me about the weather in tarkarli . Are A/c rooms required and also about the service of MTDC beach resort, as the only option to stay there is Mtdc resorts . Also I would like your opinion on the food and hygiene .
