| About Tarkarli Tourism |
Situated 6 kms south of Malvan, along the Konkan coast and 546 kms away from Mumbai, Tarkarli is a small village on the coast of Maharashtra.
The major attraction here is the long and narrow stretch of beach, with
its pristine waters. On a clear day, one can see the seabed through a
depth of 20 ft. It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in
the state. The Tarkarli beach
which offers pristine waters and sands, is of course the main
attraction. One can walk through the quaint fishing villages dotting
the beaches.You should make a trip to Sindhudurg, one of the state's more popular and important sea forts, built in the 17th century and the famous Padmagarh fort. The temples in this belt are also quite famous and popular.

Tarkarli - Queen Of Beaches
| Overview of the destinationTarkarli is one of the best beach I've ever seen.
If you want to enjoy its beach then you must stay at MTDC Resort but don't Food, sight-seeing and shopping Second week of May, I visited Tarkarli with my 7 family members in Swift. I took road from Kolhapur through Gaganbawda to Tarkarli-Malvan(160kms), it took Activities & things to do Second day early morning we visited backwaters, Devbaug ,Sangam. Don't miss dolphin point. Currently they are charging Rs 900 for this boat ride. But it's Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. Please do booking in advance and try to ignore Fridays due to special treatment for foreigners.
