Highlights
This scenic hillock of Agnigarh overlooking the Brahmaputra,
is linked with the romance of Usha and Aniruddha, grandson of Lord Krishna. In
fact it is believed that the battle to save Aniruddha was fought at Tezpur
during the great Mahabharata war. Perhaps the most pretty sight-seeing spot in
Tezpur, the view of the river and city is extremely captivating from here.
