Sightseeing Highlights

The main highlight of Tithal is the beach, which is rated among Gujarat's finest beaches.

The uniqueness of this beach is that the sands are black rather than the normal white or golden. It is a pleasant place for swimming, as the waters are considered safe. There are also a number of cottages in Tithal which are available incase you feel like resting indoors. For the pilgrims, a visit to the Sai Baba temple and the Swaminarayan temple is a must.

Close by is the Hazira beach, which is another pleasant spot to visit and is lined with casurina trees. It can also be combined with a trip to Hazira port, which is one of the state?s largest industrial areas.

You must include a trip to the city of Surat for sightseeing and shopping which is known for its silk weaves like the Tanchoi and Gajee sarees and Kinkhab brocades sometimes woven with gold and silver threads.
