Akola Experience: Akola is very nice place and peoples of akola is also very kind.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Sightseeing is nit much in akola but pani puri is famous in akola and maggi lover enjoy Foi.
Activities & things to do: Gurudwara near akola station nd fresh air in mrng gives lots of energy .
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From mumbai cst to akola so many train running between these two imp. Station daily.

Akola Experience: Akola is a OK place to stay for one night. There are not many good veg. hotels near railway st.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Shegaon a holy place near by Akola

"Quick Specs"

Akola Experience: Small untidy town with little to do for leisure. Business center for adjoining districts/villages and caters to local demands only.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping: No fancy restaurants, but small eating joints.
Activities & things to do: Shop for clothes from New Cloth Market.
Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From Mumbai, Pune or Nagpur by train.
