Beach for everyone

This beach is amongst the cleanest beach at this time, it has places for everyone. You can take a bear and chill if you walk a little North of the beach a small quite and less famous beach and a sweet water lake for solo travelers.

Candle light dinners for couples.

Party places like laughing Buddha for friends.

And Drum circles are gonna begin soon, so becomes heaven for hippies and musicians.

Don't forget to eat crazy butter chicken at Lavish hotel and shwarma on the way back.

All time favourite!

A lot has been said about Arambol but I think no amount of words can describe the vibe of this lovely little beach. While most other popular beaches in Goa have become excessively crowded and expensive, Arambol still retains it's hippie charm. Every time you take a walk by the beach, you'll see musicians and performance artists rehearsing and I can just sit there and watch them in awe. The nightlife in Arambol is probably it's biggest attraction. Moonlit parties by the shiny sand and sound of the splashing waves is just what you need to let your hair down! Don't forget to try the hand tossed pan pizzas and English breakfast at Olive shack!

Arambol Overview

Arambol Village is situated in Pernem Taluk of North Goa District in the state of Goa. This village is located around 8.85 km from the main town of Pernem and is situated approximately 35.06 km from the state capital of Panaji. It is a secluded place which is a dwelling area of hundreds of fishermen.

It is one of the important beaches in Goa, surrounded by the Arambol village which is famous for its typical Goan culture and hospitality. Local inhabitants in Arambol include Hindus, Christians and few Muslims. The long stretch of golden sands interspersed with rocky cliffs make this beach beautiful.

Arambol has two main beaches, one is the Harmal Beach, which is situated in the northernmost region of Goa and the other is located at a walking distance from the village. The Harmal Beach is around 200 metres long and is suitable for gliding. Facilities are also available at this beach for training and tandem flights.

These beaches are peaceful and quite on all days, except Sundays, when several tourists and local picnickers gather here for beach activities. The palm trees, the golden stretch of sand and fresh water pools are some of the main highlights of the beaches in Arambol.

Just behind the second beach, there is a small freshwater lake, which extends from the bottom of the valley, leading to a dense forest. Arambol was once the most backward village in terms of economy, as farming and horticulture were the two main occupations practised here. However, at present, Arambol is a famous tourist destination which has many Punjabi restaurants and fast food joints, Kashmiri shops and Maharashtrian shopping stalls.

There are some famous budget hotels here which stay crowded in October. Arambol Beach is a popular place for paragliding and is home to dolphins. The best time to visit this destination is from October through June.

There is so much to see in Arambol.
