Bandipur National Park Experience: Good place to go with kids.lots of deer ,elephant and peocock we can see on the roads. Kids will really enjoy jungle safri will be good experience. its a nice place to go with family.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Country club, No good hotels near by bandipur,

Activities & things to do: for kids its a good place

"Tiger sighting"

Bandipur National Park Experience: The national park is really nice. The drive inside the park passing by animals is quite exciting. I had the fortune of sighting a tiger during the safari. Also got to see elephants and few other animals and birds. Should definitely visit the place for the Big Cat

Bandipur National Park Experience: it is one of the best tiger spotting national park with other animals. Best wild life photographers destiny.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Now there are few good hotels including M C Resorts and shopping is only for sovengier items and ofcource Jungle Lodge shop for best forest liking cloths.

Activities & things to do: In MC Resort there is lot of place for playing any thing elen small cricket and good swimming pool children play area etc. Also morning nature walk is best wild experince.

"Wild life at bandipur"

Bandipur National Park Experience: The overall experience was ok. We went to bandipur mainly to away from the daily hussle of the city life and just relax for a couple of days. Bandipur is an excellent destination to relax and rejuvenate near Bangalore.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was a bit expensive. nothing for shopping

Activities & things to do: Jungle safari

Bandipur National Park Experience: Beautful, peaceful weekend vacation place, beautiful morning view overall fine place to spend for two days with family.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is good there is no shopping place sight seeing excellent

Bandipur National Park Experience: We took a trip of park through bus but couldn't find tiger, only we could see deer, elephants.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was good at country club resort but as it is in jungle so no place for shop.

Activities & things to do: At resort you can do swimming, trekking, various sports & watch wildlife films. In jungle go for wild safari.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: You can reach by bus running between Mysore & ooty in day time & resort will arrange for transfer from main road.

Bandipur National Park Experience: Good road, on the way u can see mysore sight seeing.. Lots of hotels for refresh..

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: One of the good hotel is kamath loka ruchi ..

Activities & things to do: Since we r guest to animals there. We can just relax in that beautiful nature..

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Best way by car. Via mysore nangungud. Also can see gopalswamy hills. Beware of elephants..

Bandipur National Park Experience: The destination is beautiful. Very rustic and peaceful. Saw quite a few animals. Even sighted the tiger very close .

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food okay. Not much of a choice. Hardly any shopping.

Activities & things to do: Lots of activities. Guided trekking tours. open jeep safari.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: To reach Bandipur, is a little difficult. You need to book a cab from the nearest airport.

Bandipur National Park Experience: There were many tourists who feed the animals though there are boards forbidding it. Do not feed the animals. One can be taken off guard and be aware there are wild cat in this jungle. One can see many elephants, be careful of the loners, especially young loners with no tusks. They can be dangerous. The resort that we stayed in, is 10 km from the park and you are guaranteed to see wild animals en-route. We had great time, and were back home in 6 hours. :)

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: A trip to Ooty for lunch or dinner. Citronella extract, which is a good mosquito repellnt.

Activities & things to do: Nature walk, hill climb, safari

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Insect repellant, warm headgear and clothing for the evening. Do not feed the animals.

Bandipur National Park Experience: Quite good for nature lovers and to experience wildlife nature view is awesome saffari is affordable.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Good food but very expensive.

Bandipur National Park Experience: Didn't see tigers, but see a full pack of elephants from close range is not the kind of experience you can have everyday.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There are good options for food (both veg and non-veg).

Activities & things to do: Jungle Safari, nature walk into the jungle.

Bandipur National Park Experience: The destination is excellent for a one day trip. The place gives the opportunity to visit the national animal in its home. Its 15kms away from elephant reserve- Mudumalai.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The food are arranged by the resorts. Its better to have at the place we stay. Outside its too costly. Sight seeing - the forest is good, the animals are luck. Shopping - Didn't check with the tiger.

Activities & things to do: Two things to must to do there. 1. Go for safari on the evening. 2. Go for the nature walk on the early morning.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: The place is 80 km from Mysore. There is not much problem in finding the way. Mysore- Nanjangud- Gundalpet- Bandipur.

Bandipur National Park Experience: Awesome place to be at, we sighted a tiger within the first 10 min of the safari

Bandipur National Park Experience: This is a very good place for animal lovers and a very peaceful place. Though the government provided accommodation is basic, this place is worth visiting..the Food is also basic in nature and doesn't have a choice..

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Not to be missed is early morning jungle safari conducted by government..

Activities & things to do: Jungle safari and a movie about tiger conservation....

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: The bandipur is a tiger reserve and gates to the jungle is closed from 9.00 PM to 6.00 Am.

Bandipur National Park Experience: Destination is peaceful and calm, and view of western ghats is good. It is not that cold like other hill station, and can get pretty hotter.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food - everything was ok, Rasam was too good, more like a chettinad style.

Activities & things to do: Safari (no guarantee of spotting any animal)

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Go early during the day, so that you can enjoy the resort stay as well

Bandipur National Park Experience: It was a quick weekend get away trip, nice location in just before the jungle. Beautiful landscaping, the lodge is close to the jungle and good simple south indian food too.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Nice food and very great location for admiring nature

Activities & things to do: Go for morning walks, safariand junge walks

Bandipur National Park Experience: Incredible drive through dens forest we can see so many animals and birds during this drive. go slow be patient dont disturb...

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Not much option for shopping, this is forest

Activities & things to do: Elephant ride is there and jungle safari for watching tigers are available as per norms...

"Good jungle outing"

Bandipur National Park Experience: Nice place to have a look at the jungle animals especially elephants, panther, macau monkeys and deers.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: everything was ver well looked after by the resorts peaople of MC resorts

Activities & things to do: Trekking, games at the resorts.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Our trip started from ooty side, took a cab, never go by two wheelers as there is always danger of wild animals or elephants crossing the roads.
