Bodhgaya Experience: The overall ambiance of this place is great. Anyone would fall in love with this place which is having great religious importance from ages.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Kiosks near the exit of the temple is good but more hygiene should have been maintained by the authorities. Shopping kiosks are also umpteen.

Activities & things to do: Meditation training at various center for peace of mind.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From Gaya station it is around 12 kms. One can approach from Patna after visiting Rajgir and Nalanda places of buddhist importance.

Bodhgaya Experience: destination was excellent scenery, neat and clean atmosphere.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: sightseeing was exceptional in terms of tourism.

Activities & things to do: no activity except sightseeing.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: better to reach by train upto gaya and take taxi from there and the best time to visit is winter.

Bodhgaya Experience: Ideal location on the banks of the river, would have been better if it is well maintained

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Its OK and the restaurant should have been kept clean and as of date its showing as if we are not welcome

Bodhgaya Experience: It is a place with peace. Cool, quite and calm. Roads are clean and less pot holes. We have started from Gaya by Auto. It hardly takes 45 minutes. Surrounding is ok.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: In my opinion this is a good choice with a menu of veg and non-veg dishes, such as mutton badam pasanda, Portuguese-style fish and a creamy malai-kofta served in a spicy tomato and onion based gravy).

Activities & things to do: Just enjoy the sanity of this place. Visit please Mahabodhi Temple. Architectural Buildings. One of the most sacred places for Buddhists, the temple is an imposing example of early brick structures in India.

Bodhgaya Experience: place is very beautiful. keep it clean.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: don't miss to visit Gaya (Vishnu padi temple etc.)

Activities & things to do: i think, spending at least 2-3 hrs at mahabodhi temple during evening time is must to make the holiday worth.

Bodhgaya Experience: Bodhgaya is the world heritage sight but unfortunately that famous destination is not promoted well by the Authorities.Serious campaigning along with infrastructure development can turn this destination as one of the most visited sight in the world.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Thai,chinese, japanese along with indian foods are available in this small city,monasteries built by various countries, buddha statue & famous mahavira temple with the bodhivriksha constitutes the sight seeing activities. Miniature temple & buddha statue are most sought after shopping items in this small place.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Can be reached by train from any part of India-- Gaya is the train station.Can be reached by flights through Patna airport which is about 110 kms far from the destination. Car can be hired at Patna airport itself.takes about 4hrs as road conditions are not very good. can be reached from Varanasi or any other buddha circuit places by bus services provided by various tour operators.

Bodhgaya Experience: Nice place Mahabodhi temple is really nice. and 80 feet of Buddha statue is great Buddhist holy place. Here many buddhist country temple build like Thailand, Vietnaam, Myanmar, Burma, Tibet, Bhutan, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Bangladesh & Nepal etc

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: I always take food in Hotel Tokyo. Here I taste Thai,Japanese and Indian food.

Bodhgaya Experience: Excellent place for a peaceful afternoon. Buddhist monks and foreigner tourists all over the place. Suddenly you feel very relaxed and very calm after visiting the main Maha bodhi temple. Total silence. Feels like you have moved back in time by 1000+ years.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Not many. You can try Hotel Sujata's restaurant. It is better amongst the few options available. When in Gaya town, visit Mangla Gowri temple, Vishnupad temple and Kali badi temple. Very old town, lots of temples to see. Visit Rajgir, Nalanda university and kakolat waterfall.

Activities & things to do: Eating, travelling on cycle rickshaw.
