Bomdila Experience: We have to stop and stay compulsory at this place as it takes lots of time to reach Tawang from Guwahati. Their is no sight seeings or extra activities at this place. People stay here only for one night on the way to Tawang. Usually tourist reach here late evening and leave this place early morning. Hence nothing about any good or bad experience.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Very difficult to get Veg. food as almost all the people at this place are non veg. Nothing for Sight seeing and shopping.

Activities & things to do: No extra activites or things to do.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Place enroute to Tawang, Hilly area so the tourist who have vomiting or nausea problems have to take care and carry proper medicines before starting the journey.

Bomdila Experience: One can take night stay here, safety place, military area and can take local scenery a few miles from here.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Tasty food and all kind of foods are available

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From guwahati to valukpong, valukpong to bomdila Tejpur to valukponf road is more or less good,then the road is quite bad more or less 45 kilometer Avoid tejpur to valukpong after evening n.b:- Inner line permit is necessary to visit Arunachal pradesh,you can do it from Guwahati, or one can do it from saltlake kolkata from arunachal bhaban

Bomdila Experience: Bomdila is a pleasant surprise in Arunachal Pradesh. The climate, the monastery are a treat for any tourist & so are the people. Booking your hotel well in advance is a must because accommodation is very tough to find.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is good & homely & you can spend your time just enjoying the scenic beauty. Not much to shop.

Activities & things to do: You can just stroll along the Monastery site & spend your time lazing.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Travel in Arunachal is very tough & you need to hire a car from any point & travel from either Itanagar or Guwahati. Roads are very bad & it's a no no entry during the monsoons.

Bomdila Experience: Bomdila is a peaceful small hill station at arunachal surrounded by clouds all the time. lovely surroundings and breathtaking views.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is average, monestry is a nice place here to spend time n tribal museum..

Activities & things to do: Hiking and just move around.

Bomdila Experience: Staying overnight only at the altitude of bomdila i feel much pleasant weather, clear sky and the range of various mountain peaks just attract my heart and i feel much more peace in that place.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is worst, sight seeing on the way of Tawang just amazing.. did not shop at all

Activities & things to do: Camp fire is much more compulsory, if it is done we feel much more enjoyments

Bomdila Experience: Bomdila can be reached either from Tezpur or Guwahati of Assam. From Tezpur, one can share Tata Sumo or like vehicle. However, as the Road condition is not good, it is advisable to reserve a tata Sumo within affordable Cost. One can stay there for 2 days to enjoy surrounding beauty. Also enjoy seeing Tibet pattern Buddhist Temple.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food though Costly are readily available. Shopping & sightseeing facilities are also there.

Activities & things to do: You can enjoy wonderful gifts of nature. If time permit( 1 Day ), you can go to Tawang (Near China Border). Have sufficient body cover as there is cold throughout the year.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: For going to Bomdila, one can come to Tezpur Airport by Flight & go there by Reserved or Shared Tata Sumo as said earlier. One should have patience during such long Journey. One must have Inner Line Permit (ILP) for going there. Otherwise,you will be denied entry & get down at Assam Border. ILP can be received at Guwahati, New Delhi, Tezpur & Kolkata.
