One of the premium beach of Goa.

Calangute, Candolim and Baga, Anjuna are the beaches on the same seashore out of those Calangute and Candolim are the beaches where premium properties are developed.

Morning and evening walks are one of the best activity you can do.

I would rate it 5/7 everything is beautiful about this place except at the time of sunset no lights in the vicinity and local crowd there is totally not trustworthy, if only couple is visiting there then make sure you leave the place before sunset... Else nice place to visit.

"Beach for relaxation"

  • 6.0/7
  • Posted Jan 24, 2017
If you are looking for a beach to chill, this is the place. First thing that you notice is that it is very clean unlike other popular beaches like Calangute and Baga. There are shacks lining the beach with beach chairs. So if you want to swim in sea or sunbathe in peace this is a great place. Top it with beer and seafood at the shack. One end of the beach is the Taj Fort Aguada hotel and other end merges into Calangute. If you are looking for water sports, boat rides etc this is not the beach. Candolim had great night spots on the main road. Live music, different cuisines. Have your pick.

We visited beach both in night and early morning. The experience was awesome both the times . . In day time we can expect when waves hit us and can be prepared, but in night, we can see the waves only when it come close to us. It was a different experience. You have very good hotels around the beach and not too crowded. Don't miss this beach

If you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful beach in Goa then candolim is the one where anyone can stay calmly for hours. I just loved the beach. In Goa there are many beaches but candolim is the beach where one can find water sports at the cheapest prices.

Great fun even during monsoon season. We spent 2 days in Goa, it was although raining through the tour but we enjoyed a lot. We rented a bike and rimed around Goa beaches like Calangute, Baga. Calangute was the best as it was neat and clean and surrounded by tourists mostly Indian as it was off season in July.

"Candolim beach - Absolute bliss."

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted Jul 5, 2016
I have been to Goa several times. One beach that I like the most is Candolim. If you want to away from much noisy crowd in Goa then candolim is the ideal beach. Most of the foreigners like to visit this beach. There are plenty of hotels and home stay around this area. The complete stretch of candolim beach roads will attract you for shopping. Lot of eateries both side of the road which serves Indian, Chinese, continental and grant food. You must visit to Fisherman's cove. Lovely ambience with music with great food.
Candolim beach is one of the cleanest beaches in Goa. You can spend whole day in the beach. Plenty of shacks available in the beach. They serve you food, drinks and cot to relax in the beach. In the evening the atmosphere gets amazing. You can book a table with candle light lit and spend good time. The ambience is amazing.
Best way to roam in Goa by bike. You can easily get one near every hotels. They charge Rs. 250 to 300 per day. Other side if the candolim beach road goes to Sinqurim beach. It's a nice beach for water ports. One side of the beach is surrounded by Aguada Fort. You can click some nice snaps here. Taj vivanta and kingfisher villa are located close to the beach.
There are many resorts and home stays available here in a walkable distance from the beach. April to October is the best time to be in Goa. Goa is well connected from all major Indian cities by Air, rail and road.
