Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is same across all of West and North india, people eat extremely oily and fat rich food right from breakfast to dinner. Road side eateries serve samosa and Kachori early mornings with sweet dishes of jamun and Jilebi's. Sight seeing is more to do with the Chittorgarh Fort and nothing much else. Shopping limited to few areas and nothing exclusive to Chittorgarh

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Shoes compulsary, good camera with huge battery back up if you are a photography crazy person. Travel you can from anywhere in Rajasthan. Food is oily and fatty, need to keep watch on the calories. Do not shop inside the fort or palace, go to the local market if needed. Hotels are expensive for the quality, service and facility they provide. Food in these hotels are on match with 5 star hotels.

Chittorgarh Experience: Chittorgarh is the old royal city. once upon a time it is ruled by local king, and he built huge fort to protect its people. The fort is so huge and lengthy, in side the fort there is a vijaya sthanbha (Piller), Meer temple, jain temple, old palace with lake palace, etc.,
