Dehradun Experience: It was my first visit to dehradun. And I have enjoyed a lot people are good.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was awesome. I had my lunch in punjab restaurant in dehradun and dinner in black pepper. Went to FRI very romantic place Rajpur road is best for shopping.

Activities & things to do: I have watched 5D movie in silver city mall. Went to shiv mandir at mussorie road. Shastra dhara is a beautiful place to visit.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: From delhi you can book a volvo ticket from upsrtc fare is rs. 650 and it will take 5 hours to reach dehradun. The only problem is that all volvo busses had departure at night so you have to book you hotel in advance

Dehradun Experience: Dehradun is best to be visited during the months of february and march, when you get to enjoy spring season at its best.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: the food that we got to eat at hotel M J Residency was excellent.

Dehradun Experience: city was calm and beautifull. people are very helpfull and co operative.. we had a very good time..

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: we liked about the food mainly. because south indians need mirchi in the food. we had chicken biryani.. it was extra ordinarily super. same as hyderabadi biryani.. people are very co operative..

Activities & things to do: i liked the the entire trip.. it was like heaven for me visiting diff people and hill station area.. journey was like adventure for me..

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: dont carry luggage much. travel by vehicle. avoid night journeys. daily mrng paratha is the one we dont liked much. beautiful places. we did rafting, para gliding, sky fox etc.. trip is very good. khajjiar will be the best honey moon spot.

Dehradun Experience: Dehradoon is a very nice place to visit and if you are planning to visit mussorie also u can stay at dehradoon and go to mussorie.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is good at dehradoon, the major attraction of dehradoon is 'shastradhara 'which is a very nice place. FRI, Sai temple,'Tapkeshwar Mahadev' are other nice places.

Activities & things to do: U can enjoy good north indian food such as rajma chawal in Dehradoon.

Dehradun Experience: Dehradun is good as tourist destinations sanctuary for animal and bird lovers. Hill stations include Mussoorie, Sahastradhara, Chakrata, and Dakpathar. Famous temples Tapkeshwar, Lakhamandal and Santala Devi are located here.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Mussoorie, Sahastradhara, Chakrata, and Dakpathar very attractive Pantan Bazar and indra market was good for shopping

Activities & things to do: Dehradun is a base for trekking and just stay overnight in the city before heading into the Garhwal Hills

Dehradun Experience: I found dehradun a place not only to visit once or twice but to live whole life .the climate,traffic sense n control .very clean city and overall surroundings are very good .

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Tapkeshwar temple of mahadev shiv shankar a very holy and good attractive place to visit where you can remove your all exertions of the day.the holy shiva temple on the way to mussorrie. Sai temple,lachchiwala good picknic spot and sehestradhara where one can enjoy natural falls The holy buddha temple a great place to feel worship. The canaught place near ghanta ghar a very good market with variety of goods and punjab restraunt is good

Activities & things to do: Enjoy water riding,bath and water fall at lachchiwala and sehestra dhara.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Through train the journey is good and comfertable and in local by taxi or through local convence. All over convence is available

Dehradun Experience: Dehradun is a fantastic place of so many interest and the gateway of many attarctive tourist spots like Hrishikesh, Hardwar, Mussoorie, etc. Overall weather of Dehradun is soothing and communication is fine. Also, Dehradun is having a number of important central govt offices.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: A real place for shopping and good food is also available.

Activities & things to do: Just roam around and shop, have good foods, and finally move towards your chosen destination...

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: TRAIN/BUS/AIR, well connected with almost every metro cities, and specially with New Delhi..

Dehradun Experience: Dehradun as a place is not so exciting as the other places I visited within India. Its a big town now after being recognized as the capital city of Uttarakhand. People are very helpful and nice. Its basically a military base camp I suppose, with a training academy of arm force.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: For shopping the best thing to buy from here are the dry fruits. For the foodies I would suggest go for the best North Indian non veg dishes as chicken bharta, chicken afghani.. Restaurants I do not remember..

Dehradun Experience: Very nice hotel and the destination I enjoyed staying here, i really enjoy the trip.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: I enjoyed staying here. The service and food is very good. The location is a little away from major attractions and near embassies. Also there aren't any shopping arcades which would have been helpful given the location.

Activities & things to do: It is nice business hotel, excellent food, nice accommodation, very comfortable beds and above all the owner takes personal interest in every guest staying at the hotel. Another good part is its location, right at the entrance of Dehradun, away from all hoch poch of the city..

Dehradun Experience: Good, not Dehradun but Haridwar , Rishikesh, Musoori are nereby places , so it's good package as a holiday destination

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: I hardly believe in shopping , only those things which we don't get in other places, the road side shops , food is very homely in any restaurant , we did our lunch in haridwar , 'dada boudir hotel' attraction is for me is aarti at evening in Haridwar , ganga , after that, laxman jhula, ram jhula in rishikesh

Activities & things to do: In the month of October can go for rafting, bungee jumping in rishikesh

Dehradun Experience: dehradun is basically not a tourist spot and city has become very crowded.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: there is nothing much to see at dehradun. there are some tourist spots, but not worth seeing except 'sahasra dhara'.

Dehradun Experience: i was on office tour in dehradun.this was an owsome place.many hill station near by to travell, like masoori and others campty fall was an good.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: food was owesome ,good indian food.hill station masoori was my fav. there is a local market near by my hotel.

Activities & things to do: a peacefull place,vally,camptyfall,and many more.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: from delhi you can get ac volvo bus from anad vihar isbt.bus service is just in every half an hour. good bus...you can go by car..good highway.

Dehradun Experience: Very pleasant place to stay in vacation. Should enjoy the life with whole family. Weather also great, not too hot nor cold.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Shopping should be for woollens and antique items (can have the 'Om Bell', as a memory, which is also an antique).

Activities & things to do: Rafting at Rishikesh, Tracking through the Dehradun-Mussouri track route, which was built by Britishers before independance for carrying goods.

Dehradun Experience: For me Dehradun meant IMA,good old bakeries, eateries & quality rice.But I found the nature around Dehradun very refreshing & the people friendly.It makes me want togo there again & again.In fact it was supposed to be a stop-over en-route to Nainital & I decided to spend more time in Dehradun!

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: For good South Indian food Balaji or was it Tirupati, right outside Hotel Inderlok, on the main road was a must visit.The bakery stuff on the same road were good too.

Activities & things to do: I spent most of my time walking, inter-acting with locals & trekking.It was fun!

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: I had taken a train which was extremely tiring, better to catch the shatabdi. I returned to Delhi by road,the natural surroundings were so refreshing!

Dehradun Experience: Dehradun is a small city, it is the capital of Uttarakhand. The city has recently become commercialized but it still has pollution free air. It is located hardly 250km from New Delhi and is well connected by train, bus and air. The nearest airport is JollyGrant, which is 20 km from Dehrdun

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Many places to visit eg Sahastradhara, Mussoorie, Rishikesh, FRI (Forest Research India), Dhanaulti etc. You can try the food at Kumar vegetarian. Quite old but excellent food.

Activities & things to do: Lots of picnic places around Dehradun.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: 6 hours by traing from Delhi, 1 hour by flight from Delhi. May carry some thermals in winters, as it is very cold. Remember, it snowed in Dehradun in late 70s/early 80s.

Dehradun Experience: Cool weather. Pollution free. Majestic views of Shivalik and Himalaya Ranges. Known for the best schooling in India.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Haridwar.

Activities & things to do: Relax, Trek, Good food.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Carry sufficient warm clothes during winters. Also, if you plan to visit Mussoorie, the roads have a lot of turns. So beware and plan accordingly.

Dehradun Experience: Very good place with an hour distance from Rishikesh, Haridwar, Himachal and Mussourie.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Opal Lounge, Robers cave.

Activities & things to do: Para gliding, White water rafting.

Dehradun Experience: It is a nice and bustling city.The memorable visiting places are The Sahashradhara and Robbers caves and nearby hill station of Musoorie.Marketing at Paltan Bazaar is a delight.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Not to be missed shopping at Paltan Bazaar.

Activities & things to do: Cable cars at Sahashradhara and the ambience at the hill top restaurant there.

Dehradun Experience: Destination was good although it was on the main road but still there was no noise of the traffic. The power was also good.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The food at the zaika restaurant was dam good and the Sardar Ji sitting there was quite helpful.

Activities & things to do: Nothing much except taking a bath at the Sahastra Dhara

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: One can reach Dehradun via Haridwar Saharanpur and it is a pleasent drive except for a small patchy road.
