Devprayag Experience: I liked it very much. The climate of the destination was nice. The Holy Sangam of the river Alaknanda and Bhagirathi is a great view. They intersect each other in a great pressure.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: There is fooding problem in Devprayag but some shops gives nice food. The food is mainly Samosa with Choley and Parantha with Choley. There is nothing to shop.

Activities & things to do: Trekking only.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Drive carefully, One can reach by bus,car or taxi. Do not overtake on the roads because they are very narrow.

Devprayag Experience: It is situated at foothills of Garwal Himalaya, at the confluence of the river Bhagirathi and Alakananda. A picturesque place. But very few hotel. The GMVN bungalow here is in a ramshackle condition. Very ill maintained (actually I think it is never repaired). Very small dirty rooms and more dirty toilets. Dining hall is in a very bad condition. So travellers please try to avoid staying at Devaprayag.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: One have ask at least 6 - 8 hours before for food at GMVN bungalow. There is no other good eating place in the entire area. Nothing for shopping.

Activities & things to do: Nothing at all.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Try to reach early from Haridwar, don't plan for a stay.
