Dharwad Experience: The native place of Dr D R Bendre Girish Karnad Gangubai Hanagal and many many more. Weather is pleasant right through the years. Although the monsoons from mid June to August end can be a bit restrictive(although there are those who enjoy!!) being the tail ends of the western ghats. It is also the gate way to Uttara Kannada district of karnataka
