"Dwarka: a glory of India"

Dwarka Experience: This historical place along with Bet Dwarka reminds us the chain of places during the time of Lord Krishna spreaded from West to East. See Mathura, Vrindavan, Ujjain, Gujrat to Puri at Orisa and upto Assam and Manipur.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food was mostly vegetarian and cheap and tasty. However, along the road side there are less no, of restaurant there. At the village during the course of road journey the people were of helping nature.

Activities & things to do: Sight seeing at beaches , walking along the beach near to Dwarka an dat Diu.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Hotel booking to be done at prior for all the places If you are visiting during December end like peak season; similarly book for visiting Gir sanctuary if you plan to visit there.

Dwarka Experience: On the shore of the Indian Ocean with lots of temple but the temple of God Dwarkadhish is best of them all. good wind and a fantastic location to visit with family and kids.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: goog food is available rarely at some hotels and i dont think there is anything to shop.

Activities & things to do: Sitting by the sea-shore in the evening and enjoying the cool winds.

Dwarka Experience: One of the best place to go, Dwarka is one of the Chardham according to hindu mythology. It is the sacred place of lord krishna. One will definetly feel the soulful peace when it watch the lord krishna in dwarkadish temple. It was great experience.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: local sight seeing is (1) rukhmani temple (2) Gopi Talab (3) Nagashwar Jyoti linga temple (4) Bet Dwarka

Activities & things to do: Enjoy your life at dwarka, Attend all the four aartis at the temple Mangla aarti is one of the best in the early morning

Dwarka Experience: Dwarka is one of the Dham established by Adi shankaracharya. One must vist Dwarakdheesh Temple after taking bath in Gomti river which is only 30 meters away from the temeple. The BET DWARKA Trip from OKHA port is enjoyable.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food at KANT restaurant is very good. Attraction: One can complete one of the destination of chardham yatra Not to be missed: Sun set point in the evening

Dwarka Experience: Every Indian must visit, Morning Arthi, Bhog Arthi and Last Arthi at Dwarka Temple are the unforgetable moments. The Deity can be seen in different forms at different darshan time representing various event in Lord Krishna's life. BET DWARKA gives evidences of Lords kingdom

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Thali and Kathewadi Thali are available all over Dwarka There is not much difference between good hotel and Dhaba Food are very reasonably rated and you get quality food. Pulses and Spices are very cheep.

Activities & things to do: As a pilgrim you visit the temples. Beach Bath can be done. Sun Set can bee seen.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Drinking water is a main constraint. Catch Okha Express and get down and Dwarka Road and from railway station Auto rickshaw are available.

Dwarka Experience: Dwarka in gujarat is a one of the best destinations for tourists in India situted at the beach of Arbain Sea.Tourist can seen sun-rise & sunset seen form here. All the above destination is within 4 kms & tourist can enjoy freely without any tention.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is good in all the restaurants and not costly.. As sightseeing sun-rise, sun-set, Sea, Dwrakadhish temple, Gomti river,nageshwar temple, Bet-dwraka. gopi-talab etc. Shopping is without barganing. fix cost with best price.

Activities & things to do: Tourist can see temples in the evening, sunrise,sunset seen.etc.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: I reached there form Jaipur to Dwrak by Jaipur Okha train which run on every tuesday at 16.40pm and reach there at 12.30pm. Train journey is comfortable as there is direct trainis availabe. But Bus journey is tireable as there is not direct bus for there.

Dwarka Experience: Dwarka is one of the four dhams for the Hindus darshan of which is a must in life time for Mokshya. It is among the best managed out of the 3 dhams I have seen so far. The temple staff are very courteous, hospitality in the hotels are fantatstic, hotel tariffs are cheaper despite large number of tourists and pilgrims. Climate is conducive for everyone.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: In breakfast, the local menu,i.e., Besan Bada with methi leaves, Dhokla, Khakra etc. with Pudina chatni are served on one newspaper for entire group. These are enjoying. For lunch and dinner, mostly Gujrati food is available. At least one half day should be spared for sight seeing. Bet Dwarka on sea, Nageswar temple, Rukmani temple etc. are worth seeing. One should opt for this sight seeing in conducted tour buses with people from different parts of the country speaking different languages. One days can be utilised for Somnath temple Darshan. This is one among the 12 Jyotirlingas and a very beautiful place.

Activities & things to do: Early morning bath in Gomati River or Sea must not be missed. Of course, darshan of Dwarkadish is not complete without bath in Gomati river. In the evening, walk along the sea beach and enjoy the beautiful Sunset. Many people are found collecting precious stones from the sea and selling. There are many small temples all round the city. It takes about 2-3 hours to see all these places.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Dwarka is connected by rail and road from all parts of the country. Those who do not have direct trains to Dwarka, they should stop over Ahmedabad. Move around Ahmedabad for 2 days and then proceed for Dwarka by rail or road. There are many luxury air conditioned buses also. For sight seeing, travel agents are very helpful. One can avail any type of conveyance and guide according to choice. There are large number of hotels and Dharmasalas in all ranges. Before checking-in, facilities of the hotels must be verified.

"Good family trip."

Dwarka Experience: good family trip. This is my first visit to Gujrat, But at the returning i am little bit dis appointed in Ahemedabad, other wise it is nice trip.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Nice place, fooding good.

Activities & things to do: Visit temple, sun set view, sea shore etc.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: as i travel by train upto Dwarika, so no problem in traveling.

Dwarka Experience: It is a small town.weekend visitors r more.one should book Hotels in adv in weekend.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Nothing much for shopping.Gujrati Thalis r cheap & delicious.sightseeing can b covered by 6 hrs by car.

Activities & things to do: Nothing as such.

Dwarka Experience: Dwarka is well connected by rail,road. Highway roads are very good. We reached dwarka by bus from somnath (state transport) and enjoyed the journey enrout

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: We had our food at restaurant in the premises of hotel guru prerena. Food was excellent and enjoyed having food there. We had sight seing through nagar palika bus package for bet dwarka . Rukmani temple . Gopi talab, and nageshwar temple. Enjoyed the package. One can go in for such package.

Activities & things to do: NO IDEA

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Good place of pilgrimmage. Can reach by road and train from many places , and well connected by state transport buses also.

Dwarka Experience: I want to dwarka darsan , dwarka city darsan, somnatha darsan and lastly back to Ahmadabad, because my train available in Ahmadabad.

Dwarka Experience: Dwaraka is an important piligrimage of Shri Krishna. Shri Adi Shankaracharya has established a math over here. It is also one of the '108 divya desams'

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Apart for dwarika one can also visit nageshwar jyothirlinga and also bet dwarika.

Activities & things to do: A holy dip in Gomti river, darshan of shri krishna at different times in a day and aarti.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Dwaraka is well connected by trains from many places in the country. Visit to bet dwarika should be undertaken only if time permits as it takes around 4 hrs to go by boat and return depending on availability of ferry.

Dwarka Experience: There is a temple of lord Dwarkadhish (Krishna).Dwarka is situated at the sea shore of Arabian sea at west of India in gujarat. Weather of the city is very pleasant in round the year.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Places which can be visited are Dwarkadhish temple, sea beach, bhet dwarka(can be visited by boat from okha ),Nageshwar(jyotirling of lord shiv).etc

Activities & things to do: Darshan of Dwarkadhish, darshan of jyotirling, when visit to bhet dwarka enjoy the boat riding, enjoy the beach.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: You can reach by train up to dwarka, by road you can reach over there, nearest airport is at Jamnagar and Rajkot daily flights from Mumbai over there.

Dwarka Experience: The destination was quite good enough to visit as a pilgrimage and also for fun. You can have a good chance to visit Bet-Dwarka by ferry in nominal fare and even there is a famous statue of lord shiva on the way to bet dwarka besides which you can enjoy fish pondering in small lake.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Food is quite ok at dwarka. I would suggest to do puja you can call as Jari-ji in dwarka for vaishnavs. You can really spend 2 days in dwarka one for darshan, puja and shopping and another for bet dwarka.

Activities & things to do: Already mentioned above

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Well. I have managed only two main destinations in saurashtra - Somnath and Dwarka. you can choose train as well bus also but trains would make sense for comfort. Somnath to Dwarka bus transport is also available - a 5 hr journey with 3 temples in between, which tourist transporters have converted in to 7 hrs.

Dwarka Experience: Dwarka in Gujarat is a good pilgrimage with an air of religion. You find lot of peace within yourself

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: Hotel Dwarka is conveniently located. One must try the local Gujarati thali. Apart from the main temple one must visit Nageshwar Jyotirling which is just 25 km. One must also visit Bet Dwarka which is accessible by ferry.

Activities & things to do: Spend sometime in the Dwarka temple complex & try meditation. It is amazing experience. Another good sight is the Tata Salt Factory nearby

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Dwarka is well connected by road from all over Gujarat. The roads leading here are very very good one must carry lot of liquids as it can get very hot.

Dwarka Experience: The destination is very near to the temple dwarkadhees. It is pleasant to stay here as it suits the need of at least all middleclass people.

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: The favorite restaurant etc is at walkable distance from hotel.

Activities & things to do: Though there is not much to do here but offen you can see the sea nearby and enjoy blessing of lord krishna.

Dwarka Experience: Its a good place to visit specially for pilgrimage. We have already done 3 dhams i.e. Sri Rameshwaram , Sri BadriNath Ji, Sri Jagannath Puri and we completed ou 4 dham yatra in Dwarkadheesh, Many places to visit Bet Dwarka, Gomti River, Sea-side, Light House and of course all Sringaar of Sri Dwarkadheesh from Morning Night .

Food, sight-seeing and shopping: B/F Lunch and Dinner is good in Cafeteria of Dwarkesh Hotel for people like pure veg food without onion, for shopping local market is sufficient .
