Faizabad Experience: Its a city founded by Faizullah Khan, a Rohilla Ptahan in the 188th Century. in subsequent decades it blossomed into a place of great cultural significance. It served as the capital of Oudh under the early Nawabs of Oudh. It came to set the tone of cultural environment that was to emerge at Lucknow subsequent decades: Faizabad the torch bearer of cultural synthesis. It has been an inclusive Faizabad, irrespective of storms and high tides. I am proud Ram was born there; I am honoured that I also came to this world in this august city. Faizabad symbolizes the spirit of India. The spirit of of peacful coexistence and drawing opn the strengths of all cultures to make Faizabad a unique place. Long live Faizabad, my nanihal!

Activities & things to do: See the places. Bahu Begum ka maqbra, Imambada, Chawk and old areas in the city. Visit Ayodhya, the birth town of Ram.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc: Faizabad is well connected by trains form Delhi, the Indian capital, and also from other major towns of India. There is also a good network of roadways in existence. Make use of them!
