 Sikkim 5 day trip... Need help

Me and my friend are planning to visit sikkim for 4days , 4 nights, and will be arriving in new jalpaiguri on 23rd thursday and leaving for bagdogra airport on 27th morning. Keeping this in mind I have decided to spend 23rd thur and 24th friday in pelling and 25th sat & 26th sunday in gangtok.. please advise on the places of interest in pelling and whether there is any chance for trekking/mountain biking in pelling. also please comment on the following points as well -
· Booking of hotels - please rate hotel garuda, simvo & bhaichung and which hotel would be preferable
· How to commute between places - we dont have any car with us.. how is the bus service for travelling in sikkim ? can places like rumtek monastery nathula, baba mandir etc be visited by any public transport or do we have to speak and arrange with a tour operator for taxi before hand? We have not gone for any packaged tour option..
What type of weather can be expected in high altitude places like nathula baba mandir etc in this time ? can the permit be bought on saturday
Finally,which will be better..lachung or pelling ?
Based on this we will change our plan accordingly.

We have planed a tour programme to North Sikkim at Puja vacation & the ITINERARY details are in follows.
Tour Day - 6D/7N.
Tour Time - Puja Vacation.
The Place of Visit - North Sikkim -- 3N/4D for starting from Gangtok --- side seen on the way, lachen,chopta valley, Gurudongor, Cholamu Lake, Donkiala Pass, Lachung, Yamthang, 0-Point, Yumsedong, Kataw & back to Gangtok.
In Gangtok - i)For 5th day - Nathula Pass, Baba Mandir(Old + New), Changu Lake, Memenchu Lake (between Old Baba Mandir & New Baba Mandir).
ii) For 6th day - Local side seen & return to NJP.
Tour Person - 8pax/6pax.
Hotel - Normal.
