History of Ghaziabad
Ghaziabad is situated in the western part of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Located on the banks of the Hindon River, Ghaziabad is known as the gateway to Uttar Pradesh.Ghaziabad was founded by emperor Ghazi-ud-din in the year 1704. Ghaziabad was known by the name Ghaziuddin Nagar in those days when Ghazi-ud-din built a palace for himself.
